Biography
Divine is the founder and managing partner of the firm. After advanced legal studies in England and a brief stint at American international law firm WilmerHale in London, Divine served as an associate and senior associate at Cabinet Marie-Andrée Ngwe from 2010 to 2019, and as a partner and head of the banking & finance practice of another law firm before launching DA&A. He has advised on some of the most high-profile transactions in Cameroon.
Divine’s portfolio includes secured financing in commercial transactions, international business transactions, competition, employment, finance, investments, energy, telecoms, and general commercial and corporate law.
Divine’s dispute resolution profile embraces courtroom litigation (criminal, employment, commercial and corporate litigation), mediation, and commercial arbitration. He has successfully defended clients in corporate criminal cases and represented clients in complex civil, commercial, and corporate disputes. His outside interests include poetry.
